Stargazing
Le Lappe Relais has received GOLD certification from Astronomitaly, an award reserved for the most beautiful skies in Italy. Thanks to its isolated location and absence of light pollution, our night sky is among the clearest and most evocative in Tuscany.
To celebrate this rare natural beauty, we regularly organize astronomical observing evenings: an invitation to marvel before the cosmos, in a truly special setting. We begin with a rich and convivial Tuscan apericena, served outdoors under the stars or, alternatively, in the warmth of the Winter Garden.
As night falls, an experienced astronomer guides guests through the constellations, planets and celestial phenomena of the period, with the help of a professional telescope that brings the sky even closer. Events take place between spring, summer and fall, following the rhythm of the season.
Guests sit on chaise lounges, wrapped in soft blankets, with a glass of wine, a cool drink or hot herbal tea. The fire crackles, the air becomes quiet, and above us the sky opens to something eternal.
A moment of silent wonder, a small, simple joy of life, reminding us how beauty often lives in the most natural things: a clear sky, good company, and time to look up.
